Summary:
When starting the map Glitch Parkour as soon as the tutorial begins and the player starts to move the Xbox Series S and X as well as Nintendo Switch shut off completely. The map was also crashing on every device we tested on a specific point in the game. The map Developer stated that the culprit seemed to be the minecraft:tick_world entity component but is unsure which interaction is causing it to crash.
Impact:
The game freezes and makes the console shut down and hard reset.
Repro Steps:
Install a fresh copy of the map Glitch Parkour from the provide template.
- Start the map by pressing the button in front of you
- After the 2 warning screens one about Seziures and our bug one, the map will load you into the tutorial
- Begin to move forward to run up the stair case in front of you.
- The game will freeze and then the system will shut off.
Observed Results:
Frequent game crashes on the second cutscene due to the minecraft:tick_world entity component. High-Tier game consoles shuting off and hard resetting themselves.
Expected Results:
To be able to play all the way through the map without the game crashing or the console shutting down.
