Summary:

When the player mines Iron Ore they do not get the Iron Ore block, the player receives nothing. When needing to mine Iron Ore for maps such as Hardcore Island the player does not get any Iron Ore or Raw Iron.

 

Impact:

 Live Marketplace content is unplayable 

 

Repro Steps:

1. Open a fresh copy of Hardcore Island
2. Unlock creator settings and enable cheats 
3. Enter the following command 
4. /tp -104 39 -33 
5. Get the Iron Pickaxe in the chest
6. Mine the nearest Iron Ore next to the player 

 

Observed Results:

The player does not collect any Iron Ore on Minecraft Build V 1.17.0.52 

 

Expected Results:

The player should be able to collect the Iron Ore or the raw ingots version of the Ore’s to smelt and use in game.
