Ghost blocks appearing when block changed occur on edge of view distance
Impact:
Blocks being displayed that arent there is a fundamental failure of a voxel based game. It greatly impacts Jigarbov Holiday map.
Repro Steps:
Simply playing the map will show the issue over time with a low render distance. There is another repro which appears to be the same issue:
- Open the holiday world
- start the game (creates tickingareas and stuff) but dont complete the tutorial
- run this command /fill 271 66 191 240 68 80 stone
- if bug doesnt happen, run again /fill 271 75 191 240 82 80 stone
Observed Results:
sections of blocks are missing entirely_. they act like they are not there , when right clicked with open hand they appear, player can jump through them. reloading the game makes them appear._
Expected Results:
when block changes are made on the server they should be reflected on the client.
note: the entire play field is in a ticking area.
