[Affecting Live Content] You can no longer interact with entities while you are riding them

 

Summary:

You can no longer interact with entities while you are riding them.  For example, our map "Construction Vehicles" has a control panel item.  Using this item on an excavator entity manipulates the arm/scoop.  This gave the entity the ability to dig blocks by lowering the scoop into the ground and lifting it back up.

But, you can't do this while inside the excavator anymore.  Making the entity useless.  

Impact:

This impacts many maps on the Marketplace that relied on this function.

Repro Steps:

1. Create a "Construction Vehicles" world.
2. Spawn an 'Excavator' entity and give yourself a 'Control Panel'.
3. Ride the Excavator and attempt to right-click with the control panel.

 Note: this is one example, this bug affects much much more.

Observed Results:

• Excavator, forklift, drill, etc. no longer react to item interactions while you are mounted on them.

 

Expected Results:

• Entities react to item interactions.
