Worlds Don't load

Minecraft refuses to load worlds, even presets. I've tried using other versions, but they will not work. They get to the dirt block screen, and then stop working. No crash, it just stays loading. I bought Minecraft recently, in that information is of use. I cannot get a crash log, because I have to manually stop the java platform.
