My minecraft wont work

When i boot up my PC and open Minecraft, the launcher launches fine but when i open Minecraft. nothing happens, i try and open it again and it says its still open, and even i press "start anyway" nothing happens and it continues to pop up with that message, occasionally it will come up but after about 2 seconds of it being on it will not respond and that will lead to me being on the same page. I've tried uninstalling an re-installing Minecraft and updating my PC but nothing seems to be working?
