the game keeps crashing and has been this way for over a month.

Every time I try and launch 1.12.2 minecraft, it says "the game has crashed whilst initializing game" and "an unexpected issue occurred and the game crashed. we're sorry for the inconvenience." also the crash report wont even open, and i've tried previous updates, uninstalling and installing minecraft and java, everything i could think of. Its also been happening for a month and i dont understand it because before i 1.12.2 worked for me.
