Laucher not launching the game

I open the launcher, click play and after about 5 seconds, the game says that "an unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience." It crashes before the game even opens. It's been doing this for a month and I honestly don't know what to do at this point. Please help!
