An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed.

The game just won't launch. I've updated my NVIDIA driver to 391.35, deleted everything in the .minecraft app data folder, and reinstalled it multiple times now. I don't understand whats going wrong? The only information I'm getting back is from the game output which doesn't show any errors. Its using the 1.12.2 latest release so I'm not sure whats going on
