GAME CRASH

• The launcher comes up OK.
• I click "Play: 1.12.2 - Latest release"
• An empty progress bar appears at the bottom of the launcher window
• The window disappears
• The launcher re-appears with "GAME CRASH. An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience." message

I've included latest.log, from the logs folder - but it's empty.
