Can not enter the game?

I've had this problem for a while now, when attempting to use the newer "Java-less" version of Minecraft and its' version of the launcher, it will say the game is open, but it will not appear.
When I go to try again and start the game with the Java-less launcher it says that there's a game of Minecraft already open, but even Task Manager doesn't see it as so. However, the version of Minecraft that runs Java, and its' launcher, work fine. The only thing with the Java version being broken is that all skins are Steve's and Alex's, but that hasn't fixed itself since 1.9 .
Sorry to waste everyone's time, just hoping to get the java-less version to work in hopes of better game play.
