Launcher not responding

I stopped playing minecraft back a few months ago and when I tried to get into it, the launcher screen was different. I thought it was completely fine until the launcher stopped responding. It just would not do anything. I closed it and it just said that an issue had occured. This happened plenty of times and I couldn't do anything. I got minecraft on a different laptop and it said that it would respond. I left for about 3 minutes and it had brought me into minecraft. However, I got a texture pack on the laptop but it stopped working like the computer. I deleted that texture pack and the laptop began working fine. I deleted the texture packs on the computer but nothing happened. It didn't change and it just still won't respond. I have deleted the JSON in the .minecraft file like an resolved issue explained. I'm extremely stuck for ideas and I need help ASAP. I've tried 1.12 and 1.8 as well as 1.9. None will work.
