Upon start: An unexpected problem has occurred and the game has crashed. Excuses...

"We purchased MC 1.12.1, however after installation, when trying to start (Launcher), we get the message (in Dutch language): "An unexpected problem has occurred and the game has crashed. Excuses.., etc". So we are unable to play the game at all.
