Cant get on hypixel

So I been trying to get on hypixel and I have version 1,12,1 and when I try to get in it says
You must be using Minecraft 1.8 1.9 1.10 1.11 or 1.12. This has never happened to me before.
I have seen someone else say this so please fix this and when I try to get on other servers it doesn't work too!
