Can't get into Hypixel.net

Hey JIRA i got a pretty anoying problem with my game. When i try to connect to the server named Hypixel.net it says that i must be using 1.8 1.9 1.0 1.11 or 1.12.1 to play on Hypixel! now here is the funny part when i get into the game don in the corner it says minecraft 1.12.1 ! i have been on Hypixel.net MANY times before this and have had no problems with connecting to the server at all! So please help me fix this because i love Minecraft, but when things like this pops up and you don't kno what to do at all you look at the game with a sad face.
