New launcher is completely broken

The launcher is completely broken for me. When it first launches, many elements overlap each other. I have to maximize and restore the window several times for it to fix itself. If I click New Profile or Edit Profile, I can't interact with the window. I can't type anything in the boxes (or maybe I can and it doesn't show it for me), I can't click check boxes, etc. If another window covers the launcher, all the elements "behind" the window disappear. If I try to download or play, nothing downloads (the bar on the bottom appears to just stop when there's 1 "piece" left). The entire thing is unusable.

Fix the launcher. I had to pirate the 1.6 jar just so I could play the new update, even though I've owned the game for years.
