Crashes When I Try To Launch (Press Play)

I just bought and downloaded Minecraft for the first time and every time I press play it says "An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. we're sorry for the inconvenience ". I thought maybe the driver needed to be updated but my computer says its up to date and I've tried many things and took a lot of advice from the internet, I even deleted and re-downloaded the game.. but it seems like it still wont start up. I usually wouldn't be upset but I am now because I spent almost 30$ for the game and haven't even been able to experience it for myself and with my friends! Pls help
