Game crashes at start

As soon as i click to launch a profile the launcher closes then opens again saying that the game has crashed. This happens for any profile I click on (1.12,1.11,snapshots,ect.). Is this really a launcher bug or are my profiles messed up? Either way please fix it if you can. I tried to re-download the other versions, but nothing seemed to work. I also downloaded the game again.
