"Could not connect to server"

I've tried logging into my account but no matter how many times I try the launcher says, "Could not connect to server". I got my friend to login into my account on his computer and he had no problem. I attempted to fix the problem by rebooting my router and allowing Java through Firewall, but still no success. I was wondering if you could tell me what the problem is and help me solve the issue.
