Freezes when I try to type in my email and password

When I turn it on its fine but when I even try to type on letter on my keyboard it completely freezes and say "(Not Responding)" right next to "Minecraft Launcher" Really Frustrating!! Help!
Also my computer is a 2 in 1 Inpirion so I tried switiching to tablet version touse the on screen keyboard, didn't work unless I used the drawing note tab that will translate your writing to the place you want it to be typed. I got it to work for the email but the password wasn't letting me have my moment of glory! Guessing the privacy of passwords? but still I really need some help on this! Please!
