Launcher causes complete display driver failure, forces power-cycle

Pretty straight-forward issue. I open the launcher and am instantly greeted with a pure white screen and all controls lock up, forcing a power-cycle.

No log files are created at all.

I've experienced this issue previously when the launcher was first released and ignored it assuming my beta drivers at the time were at fault.
