My launcher keeps crashing?!

Whenever i go on minecraft, and i select a version and i click play, it goes into loading, but then after around five seconds it cashes saying an issue has stopped the program from working. There's no crash report whatsoever. BRING THE OLD LAUNCHER BACK!
