Trying to launch minecraft, always crashes, cannot find any crash log

I created a crash issue recently but was told to include a crash report/log , i have looked and there isn't one, the most recent one i can find is from the 15 of March 2017, however this issue has occurred today (23 of April 2017) i chose the option in settings 'Open output log when the game starts' and this is all it says 'Waiting for log output...' I have tried restarting but cannot get the game to work. I have recently installed the PrimeMC client which was when this issue began, i have uninstalled and deleted it but the issue still exists.
