trying to play minecraft 1.6 not working with new laucher

When ever i run the launcher it says "Game ended with bad state (exit code 1) Deleting /Users/susanfernand/Library/Application Support/minecraft/versions/1.6.1/1.6.1-natives-1372682134322963000
