When trying to open Minecraft Launcher, nothing appears

This has been happening for a few weeks. After February 11, I was no longer able to open the launcher. Technic seems to work fine but the new launcher fails to even show a white screen. I have reinstalled Minecraft and Java but it still does not show up.
