New Minecraft launcher crashes when you join any type of server

When I chose any version. From 1.8-1.11 to join any server even with forge, with mods or with no mods. When I join any server. The game froze and it just stood there frozen until I force to close the minecraft tab and the launcher will say my minecraft has crashed. I have redownloaded minecraft many times, redownloaded java many times, restarted my wifi, used another ip and all did not work. I am stuck using a really bad labtop to play minecraft and I really want to get that issue fixed as I also see a group of players having that issue also.
Please fix that asap.
