Launcher keeps crashing

I have not been playing minecraft for about 1-2 weeks now because the minecraft launcher keeps crashing.This started happening when i reseted my pc.When i had my pc just like it was I could play minecraft but now I can't.When i hit play even without optifine it fills the bar a bit and than it crashes.I downloaded an older launcher but it still didn't work.Please help me.I need to get on minecraft because I am Sr.Admin on a new server and I need to go there !!!
