Multiplayer Token issue

Basically, whenever the Minecraft launcher generates a new token to be used when joining a Multiplayer server, it would give a commonly occurring error that suggests restarting the Minecraft launcher to generate a new token. With the new update of the Minecraft launcher, I have noticed that sometimes the token is placed as "none" & sometimes placed as just a " - ".
I don't know if this is client side or something wrong with my internet connection, but I have tried reinstalling the Minecraft launcher with the game itself but it still occurs more often, although, not always.
