Launcher Error message when trying to load Minecraft.

I am using Java 8 I think and I have installed Minecraft without a problem, whenever I click PLAY- Download 1.11.2 - Latest Release or any other version, an error message is displayed on the screen saying (ERROR unable to save download) can anyone help with this problem please?
