Can't run forge/Game Crashes on start up/Can't Downgrade launchers

As I start up Minecraft I go to load up my selected version of choice(Forge) and it should be compatible even if it runs off java it says the new launcher run off of a more or less modded version of java. As soon as I launch Forge/Liteloader The game just crashes.

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought this launcher would be more affective for running mods but no. You can't even run mods on here; as in liteloader, Forge, and ect.

What actually happened was...:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch minecraft
2. Go to launcher options and click add new
3. Choose version of minecraft you want to run
4. run the version of minecraft
5. watch your launcher crash
