Game output stays open when the launcher is closed

I have show game output enabled on and keep launcher open on. Whenever I close the launcher after playing Minecraft, I also have to close the launcher.

I expected that whenever I closed the main launcher window, it would also close the other windows.

I don't know if this is a bug but, if it is not a bug, then it is a suggestion.
