All I get is "Game Crash" and a vague message when I try to play

Game refuses to launch.

I tried with v 1.11.2 and 1.10.2

All the message says is:

"GAME CRASH An unexpected issue occurred and the game crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience"

I have tried uninstalling and deleting the ,minecraft folder and then re-installing.
