Launcher Resets

The launcher randomly resets I have the launcher and I've played games in it already (This Is The Newest Launcher As Of 2017). I opened a world I played on some servers then i try to install the forge client to play mods but ever since the February 2017 Launcher when i try to open a game the entire launcher resets including the vanilla versions and i have to redownload the 1.11.2 version after being forced to sign in again even though the last sign in was set to remember the user.
