Cannot even open the launcher...

My minecraft has been working fine just until this morning when I tried to open the launcher, I just keep getting this message:

"Minecraft Launcher quit unexpectedly"

I am unsure what to do, please help.

PS: I am unsure where you are meant to find out what Version for whatever, so I just chose the top one.
