Minecraft new update launcher unable to modify folders

Very latest MC launcher update has bug with folders, they are not accessible
cant add anything to the mods folder, or any folder once minecraft is launched, new launch options directory is inaccessible. Tried reloading minecraft again, same problem. bottom line there is a bug with new launcher applications specifically with game directory folders apparently inaccessible.
