Launcher has to update 3-5 times before working

I wanted to run Minecraft:
I launch the game

What actually happened was...:
The launcher initializes an update, then delivers an error in which a long titled tmp file relating to the launcher cannot be moved.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch the game
2. Profit..
3. Repeat until it works
