Pistons won't push command blocks

I'm trying to make a minecraft 1.10 map, when I tried to make a piston push a command block....

....You guessed it. Didn't work. I tried to see if my redstone was incorrect, so I took away the command block to activate the piston by itself, and it worked. But it doesn't work with command blocks. I don't know if Mojang made it so they don't push command blocks, but it would be useful to map makers to fix it.

How to activate it:
1. Place a piston down and a command block in a way that the piston will push the command block.
2. Activate the piston.... (it won't work)
3. ...
