Unable to change versions with the new launcher

I started up the game as usual, trying to launch version 1.5.2

I noticed the drop-down list to choose which version to play on was gone and the only version I could play was Snapshot 13w23b

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Minecraft as you normally would
2. Try to select Minecraft 1.5.2 on the (nonexistent to me) version dropdown list
