I can't launch Minecraft

I can't launch my game because I installed a resource pack on my computer that I wanted to test on my game but i didn't see the 1.9.0 ( I was running the 1.8.9 version ) sign saying thats its only for that version. So I installed it and my game crashed, I opened the launcher but the game won't open !! I tried restarting my computer... Almost everything ! But i thought about removing the resource pack folder but I can't because I can only open the resource pack folder in the game's options. I have a Macbook pro ( I bought it on Christmas 2015 ) and I can't access the resource pack folder from the Finder app because I don't have Library, Application Support, minecraft... I need help I don't know what to do ! please take the time to reply I would be very thankful.
