Minecraft launcher not working properly

After the minecraft launcher is started and I signed in (tested with multiple accounts) I press on play and nothing happens. It registers me clicking on it and every other button works like it should. I deleted minecraft and reinstalled minecraft, tested with multiple accounts but nothing happens.
