SocketTimeoutException: Connection timed out

I was trying to log in to minecraft, but it makes me wait a couple of seconds then it gives the following error:

Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers.
Please make sure that your online and that minecraft is not blocked.
(SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out)

Im online, my minecraft is not blocked but this keeps happening. I cant play minecraft anymore. Please find a fix for this.
