When I try to log into minecraft launcher, it waits for a few after I put in my info and says. Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers. Please make sure you are online and minecraft is not blocked. (SocketException: connection reset)

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected for the launcher to log me in.

What actually happened was...:
It gave me a message saying Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers. Please make sure you are online and minecraft is not blocked. (SocketException: connection reset)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open up minecraft
2. Put in username/password
3. Wait for the message
