Once the launcher had finished loading, it asked me to sign in. So I signed in using my email as the username and the password the clicked "Log in". It took a while for my launcher to respond once I clicked on the button and it came up with "Sorry, but we couldn't log in to our servers. Please make sure you are online and minecraft is not blocked. sockettimeoutexception"

Restarting My Router
Restarting My Computer
Reinstalling .minecraft
Reinstalling the launcher
Adding Minecraft to the firewall
