I click play in launcher then cant see game.

What I expect to happen: Game boots up show mojang logo then goes to menu screen

What happens: I boot up game and click play, launcher closes and game doesnt show up.

What I checked: I looked in the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete then Task Manager) and it said minecraft (Java SE Binary) was running. I then ended the task and it came up with the launcher.

Other: This happens with the Technic launcher and the standard 1.6.44 Launcher. I just downloaded the technic launcher.

How to reproduce:
1: Start Launcher
2:Log in
3: Change version to 1.8.8
4: Click Play
5: No game will show up.
6: Open Task Manager(See above)
7: search (or look for in background Processes) for Java SE Binary
8: End task
9: Launcher will re open with crash report.
