login issue

I started seeing graphics issues in minecraft (only when i looked a certain direction) so I save/quit and logged all the way out. when i try to log back in the load bar comes up and it says downloading native launcher. that bar fills up but nothing happens. I tried deleting Java and re installing (like a blogger recommended) but no help.
