I can't update the launcher to 1.6.11

I was playing on minecraft then I got to close it then I opened it again then it updated normally then I opened a server and here the problem started It kept kicking me like for Bad compressed data format or bad packet id-134564846 that happened yesterday then when I woke up today I checked and the servers kept doing that so I deleted the launcher and re install it

What actually happened was...:
So I installed it (from minecraft.net) and it was the old version so it was downloading the new one then it says unable to update your minecraft launcher then I uninstalled java then install it again and download the launcher and still can't update then I downloaded the msi to launch the game and it didn't work then I tried again and I chose repair and it didn't do anything
