Realms is crashing my game

I thought that I would join my minecraft realm normally

The game turned itself off like it was a crash, but I had no way to report it and nothing said it was a crash and i did not get a free hug
Steps to Reproduce:
1. log on to 1.8.2 prerelease
2. click into realms
3. click on realm
4. game shuts down
