Unable to detect Java 8 on Windows 7 64-bit

When running the Launcher (as the standalone exe), I see in the nativelog.txt:

Java Version:

That is, no Java version detected even if both 32 and 64 bit Java is installed (in the latest version 1.8.0_25). The launcher then downloads Java 64-bit 1.8.0_25. If I rerun the launcher, it correctly detects the version of the Java version itself downloaded (to the runtime directory).

Since I don't know how the launcher is detecting the version, I can't say what is wrong.

The %PATH% variable contains C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath
