[MCL-3105] Launcher tries to update but fails and just sits there. Worked about a day or two ago without issue.

Had a lot of trouble when first updating to newest version of Minecraft, but finally got it to work. Now, it tries to update, fails, and just sits there doing nothing and taking up memory. I'm not even sure which version of it I have now, I just re-saved the launcher from the official website.
