black screen before the login screen

i cant play my minecraft at all including the snapshots only started to do this about 3 days ago and affects 1.5.2 aswell, it wont let me log in because when you click minecraft.exe or minecraft(dev).exe the minecraft screen goes black please help dont no how to fix it
